About this asset

This contemporary 3ds Max armchair features a curved beige fabric frame and a decorative blue cushion with a metallic tassel detail. This contemporary armchair showcases a sweeping, semi-circular backrest that flows seamlessly into integrated armrests. The piece is upholstered in a neutral beige textile, providing a soft contrast to the slim, dark metal legs that provide structural support. A standout feature is the rectangular accent cushion placed in the centre, finished in a contrasting blue fabric. This cushion is adorned with a central metallic circular ornament and a dangling tassel, adding a subtle decorative flourish to the otherwise minimalist silhouette. The overall proportions suggest a compact, comfortable lounge seat suited for intimate seating arrangements.

The download is a 6 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

To integrate this asset into a 3ds Max scene, use the merge command to import the file into your master project. Ensure the pivot point is set to the base of the legs for easy placement on floor surfaces. The model is organised with logical layer naming, allowing for quick material adjustments if you need to swap the fabric textures or change the metal finish of the legs. Apply a standard subdivision modifier if closer camera angles are required to smooth the curved geometry of the backrest.

This armchair is ideal for residential living rooms, boutique hotel lobbies, or modern reading nooks where a singular, stylish accent piece is required. It pairs well with minimalist side tables or as a pair flanking a contemporary fireplace. Professionals searching for a compact lounge chair, fabric seating, or a decorative armchair will find this model useful for interior design visualisations. It is particularly effective in scenes requiring a touch of elegance through its unique tassel detail and refined, curved form.
