About this asset

This contemporary 3ds Max dining chair features a beige fabric upholstered seat set against a slim black metal frame and legs. This dining chair presents a clean, contemporary silhouette defined by its slender black metal frame. The seat is circular and upholstered in a textured beige fabric, offering a neutral contrast to the dark structural elements. A small, curved backrest is mounted to the rear frame, providing ergonomic support while maintaining a minimalist profile. The legs are straight and tapered, finished with subtle metallic accents at the feet. The overall construction focuses on light proportions and material juxtaposition, making it suitable for modern dining spaces where visual weight must be kept to a minimum.

The download is a 33.4 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

For integration into 3ds Max scenes, this model is structured with clean geometry and logical object naming. Users should check the material editor to ensure the fabric and metal shaders are correctly mapped. The asset is designed to be easily placed within dining sets or as an accent piece in living areas. When scaling, maintain the aspect ratio to preserve the intended proportions of the legs and seat. Standard lighting setups will effectively highlight the texture of the fabric upholstery and the matte finish of the frame.

This piece works well in residential dining rooms, boutique hotel cafes, or modern office breakout areas. It pairs effectively with circular or rectangular dining tables featuring wood or glass tops. Designers looking for minimalist seating solutions will find this chair versatile for various interior styles, from industrial lofts to contemporary apartments.
