About this asset

This contemporary 3-seater slipcovered sofa, modelled for 3ds Max, features a relaxed beige fabric finish and soft, plush cushions. Defined by a relaxed, casual aesthetic, this 3-seater sofa features a fully slipcovered frame that extends to the floor, concealing the legs. The design includes three generous back cushions and two matching square throw pillows, creating a soft, inviting profile. The upholstery is a neutral, light beige fabric with visible texture, suggesting a comfortable, lived-in feel. Its proportions are deep and wide, typical of modern lounge seating designed for comfort. The arms are square and structured, providing a clean contrast to the softer, draped appearance of the slipcover base and seat cushions.

The download is a 14.2 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model. Open it in 3ds Max; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

When integrating this 3ds Max asset into a project, ensure the object is placed on a dedicated layer for easy visibility toggling. The mesh is optimized for standard interior scenes; apply your own high-resolution fabric textures to the UV-mapped surfaces if a specific weave or material finish is required for close-up renders. Check the scale against your room dimensions before final placement. Utilize standard target area lights or an HDRI environment for realistic soft-shadow results on the fabric folds and cushion edges.

Ideal for residential living rooms, family spaces, and casual lounge areas, this sofa brings a relaxed, contemporary character to any interior scheme. It pairs effectively with natural timber coffee tables, textured wool rugs, or minimalist side tables. Designers often search for this type of casual, slipcovered seating when styling bright, airy homes, coastal-inspired interiors, or comfortable reading nooks. It is a versatile choice for projects ranging from initial concept visualisations to final high-end client presentations where a soft, approachable aesthetic is desired.
