About this asset

This contemporary 3ds Max dining chair features a textured beige boucle curved backrest and a slender gold-finished metal frame. Defined by its organic, wrap-around silhouette, this dining chair balances soft textures with a refined metallic structure. The seat and the semi-circular backrest are upholstered in a tactile, high-pile beige boucle fabric, providing a contrast to the minimalist frame. A slender, gold-toned metal support wraps around the base of the seat, transitioning into four simple, cylindrical legs that provide stability. The proportions are compact, making it suitable for tight dining arrangements or as a standalone accent piece in a contemporary interior. The upholstery detailing is clean, with minimal visible seams.

The download is a 28.2 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this model is organised with logical layer naming to facilitate easy manipulation of the seat and frame components. Users should apply a standard material override or re-link the provided texture maps upon import to ensure the boucle fabric displays correct scale and bump depth. The pivot point is positioned at the base of the legs for efficient snapping to floor planes. Scaling should be performed uniformly to maintain the intended ergonomic proportions of the chair's backrest and seat height.

This chair is suited for upscale residential dining rooms, boutique hotel suites, or modern office breakout spaces. Its neutral palette allows it to integrate into various design schemes, from minimalist to soft-contemporary. Professional designers often search for this type of seating when specifying high-end dining sets or accent chairs for luxury apartments. It pairs effectively with glass or marble-topped tables, where the gold metal detailing can complement other metallic hardware or lighting fixtures within the same space.
