About this asset

This contemporary abstract pattern rug set for SketchUp features four distinct rectangular textile designs in neutral tones. This collection consists of four rectangular area rugs, each featuring a unique abstract pattern rendered in a sophisticated palette of white, grey, and beige. The designs range from subtle, painterly washes to crisp, geometric line work, providing a versatile selection for various interior styles. The textures are presented as flat, low-profile surfaces, making them highly efficient for floor coverage in 3D visualizations. Each rug is scaled for standard room dimensions, ensuring they sit flush against floor planes without unnecessary geometry, maintaining a clean and orderly appearance in complex scenes.

The download is a 3.1 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model holding 4 separate objects. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

In SketchUp, these rugs are best utilized as flat components placed directly onto floor surfaces. Users can easily swap between the four patterns by exploding the group or using the component replacement tool to test different textures within a project. The materials are mapped for immediate rendering, but can be adjusted for scale or rotation within the native material editor to better align with specific floor plans or furniture layouts, ensuring a precise fit beneath seating groups.

These rugs are essential for adding warmth and texture to residential living rooms, boutique hotel suites, and modern office lounge areas. They pair effectively with minimalist furniture, providing a soft contrast to hard flooring materials like hardwood or polished concrete. Professionals searching for floor decor, textile assets, or neutral area rugs will find these models useful for staging interior visualizations. They work well in both open-plan living spaces and private bedrooms, helping to define zones within a larger floor plate.
