Colonial Dark Wood Rattan Bed Bedroom Scene

This colonial-style SketchUp bedroom scene features a dark wood and rattan bed, a leather sofa, and decorative lighting fixtures. This bedroom scene centers on a classic colonial-style double bed featuring a dark-stained timber frame with woven rattan panels in both the headboard and footboard. The bed is dressed with deep blue bedding and a textured throw. Positioned at the foot of the bed is a matching dark wood sofa upholstered in tan leather, accompanied by a slim coffee table. The ensemble is completed by two floor-standing lanterns with amber-tinted glass shades and a cluster of three modern pendant lights. A patterned rug sits beneath the sofa and table, grounding the composition.

The download is a 85.4 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

Within SketchUp, this scene is organised into logical layers, allowing for the easy isolation of the bed, seating, and lighting elements. Users can import the model into their master file using the component browser, ensuring all textures and material mappings are preserved. The lighting fixtures are grouped as distinct components, facilitating the adjustment of their position or the replacement of light sources with native SketchUp or V-Ray emissive materials to suit the specific illumination requirements of the interior visualisation project.

Ideal for residential master suites or high-end boutique hotel room visualisations, this set provides a cohesive aesthetic for interior design presentations. It pairs well with dark wood flooring, neutral wall finishes, and tropical-inspired decor. Professionals searching for colonial, traditional, or eclectic bedroom furniture arrangements will find this scene useful for conceptualising refined, character-rich spaces. It is particularly effective for projects aiming to evoke a sense of heritage or classic comfort, fitting seamlessly into both modern-classic and historically-inspired interior design schemes.
