Classic Upholstered Wood Armchair Set

This classic armchair set for 3ds Max features six distinct upholstered designs with ornate wood frames and tapered fluted legs. This collection features six individual armchairs, each defined by a traditional frame construction with refined, tapered, and fluted legs. The frames are finished in a crisp white or natural wood tone, providing a structural contrast to the varied upholstery options. The chair backs include both oval and rectangular silhouettes, with integrated arms that feature upholstered pads for comfort. The fabric selections range from intricate, multi-coloured patterns to solid black and brown velvet-style textures, offering a diverse array of classic aesthetics suitable for formal dining rooms or traditional lounge settings.

The download is a 91.3 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model holding 6 separate objects, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, these chairs are organised as a set, allowing for efficient placement within an interior scene. The models are constructed with distinct material IDs, enabling users to easily swap fabric textures or adjust the wood frame finish using the material editor. When populating a dining room or formal suite, these assets can be instanced to maintain scene performance. Ensure the pivot points are correctly set at the base of the legs for accurate floor-level positioning.

These armchairs are ideal for high-end residential dining rooms, boutique hotel lobbies, and formal meeting spaces where a traditional or neoclassical aesthetic is required. They pair effectively with heavy timber dining tables, dark wood consoles, and ornate wall panelling. Architects and interior designers often search for these assets when specifying furniture for period-style renovations or luxury hospitality interiors. They serve as a sophisticated seating solution for projects requiring a sense of heritage and refined craftsmanship in the final visualisation.
