About this asset

This classic SketchUp model features a set of four formal swag valance curtains with intricate fabric drapes and tassel detailing. This collection includes four distinct curtain arrangements, each featuring a traditional swag valance and layered side panels. The designs utilise heavy, draped fabric construction, finished with decorative tassel trim along the bottom edges of the valances. The set provides a variety of colour palettes, ranging from deep navy blue with gold accents to neutral beige and warm brown tones. The drapes are modelled with soft, realistic folds and gathered pleats, creating a formal aesthetic suitable for high-end interior spaces. Each variation maintains consistent proportions for standard window widths and heights.

The download is a 27.8 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model holding 4 separate objects. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

In SketchUp, these models are organised as individual components, allowing for easy placement and scaling to fit specific window frames. Users should place the curtain assembly against a wall or window surface, ensuring the top track aligns with the header height. The fabric geometry is clean, making it straightforward to apply custom textures or adjust the colour properties using the material editor. For optimal performance, keep these high-detail assets on a dedicated layer to manage scene complexity effectively.

These curtain sets are ideal for formal interior design projects, particularly in luxury residential living rooms, dining areas, or hotel suites. They pair well with traditional or neoclassical furniture styles, adding a sense of elegance and completion to window elevations. Professionals looking for window dressings for heritage-style homes or formal hospitality interiors will find this asset versatile for rendering final visualisations.
