About this asset

This classic mantel clock decor set for 3ds Max features a brass-framed timepiece, matching candlesticks, stacked books, and a metallic sphere. This curated decorative set brings a traditional aesthetic to interior scenes. The focal point is a mantel clock with a brass arch frame mounted on a dark timber base, featuring a white face with Roman numerals. Accompanying pieces include two slender brass candlesticks with white tapered candles, a multi-ringed brass decorative sphere, and several hardback books with ornate, classic-style bindings. The combination of warm metallic tones, rich wood textures, and the aged look of the book spines provides a sophisticated, scholarly feel, suitable for detailed interior styling in high-end residential or executive office environments.

The download is an 8.9 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model holding 10 separate objects, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

When integrating this 3ds Max set into a scene, use the merge command to import the objects into your primary file. Ensure the pivot points are correctly aligned to the base of the clock and candlesticks to facilitate easy placement on surfaces like mantels, desks, or bookshelves. The assets are organised with logical layer naming, allowing for individual object selection or global scaling depending on the specific composition requirements of your interior render.

This decor set is ideal for styling traditional or neoclassical interiors, particularly in studies, libraries, living rooms, and executive boardrooms. It pairs effectively with dark wood furniture, leather armchairs, and classic fireplaces. Professionals searching for library accessories, mantle styling, or period-appropriate bookshelf clutter will find these assets highly effective for adding depth and realism to architectural visualisations. The set works well in both residential design projects and high-end hospitality lobbies where a sense of heritage and permanence is desired.
