About this asset

This festive Christmas decorative set for SketchUp features hanging paper stars, string lights, and small fabric stockings. This seasonal composition includes three geometric paper stars suspended at varying heights, creating a layered visual effect. Accompanying these are several strands of delicate string lights, arranged in a sweeping, organic curve to suggest a tree-like silhouette. The set is completed by three small, knitted-style fabric stockings in a vibrant red, each finished with a textured white cuff and a small decorative bow. The elements are designed to be placed together as a cohesive holiday installation, providing a balanced mix of soft illumination and traditional festive textures for interior architectural visualizations.

The download is a 9.4 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model holding 7 separate objects. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

In SketchUp, this set is organised into logical components, allowing for easy selection and repositioning of individual stars or light strands. The lights are modelled as simple geometry, which can be easily assigned emissive materials or proxy lights in your chosen rendering engine to achieve a realistic glow. Scaling should be adjusted relative to the wall or spatial context to ensure the proportions remain visually accurate.

Ideal for seasonal interior design projects, this set brings a festive atmosphere to residential living rooms, hotel lobbies, and boutique retail displays. It functions well when draped against feature walls, fireplaces, or within window displays to enhance the holiday mood. Architects and visualisers can use this model to quickly populate holiday-themed scenes, pairing it with other seasonal furniture or interior accessories.
