Brown Velvet Oval Upholstered Bench with Throw

This contemporary brown velvet oval bench, modelled in 3ds Max, features a distinctive fluted side profile and a draped textile throw. This oval-shaped bench is upholstered in a soft brown velvet, showcasing a clean, rounded silhouette. The perimeter of the base is detailed with rhythmic vertical fluting, providing a subtle texture that contrasts with the smooth, flat top surface. The piece is accompanied by a draped, grey-and-white checked fabric throw, which adds a sense of lived-in informality to the design. The proportions are low and elongated, making it suitable for placement at the foot of a bed or as a standalone accent piece in a contemporary living space or lounge.

The download is a 5.8 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

To integrate this model into a 3ds Max scene, use the merge command to import the bench into your project file. Ensure the asset is placed on a dedicated layer for easy management. The materials are pre-assigned; check the texture paths upon import to ensure the velvet and fabric shaders render correctly. If needed, the bench can be scaled to match specific project requirements, though maintain proportions to preserve the integrity of the fluted side detailing during adjustments.
