About this asset

This 3ds Max model of an oriental-style altar cabinet features dark wood construction, intricate lattice side panels, and ornate gold hardware. This traditional-inspired altar cabinet is designed as a complete set, including a main console unit with a raised back panel and a matching floor stool. The piece is crafted from dark-toned wood, featuring elaborate geometric lattice detailing on the side panels that provides a lightweight, airy aesthetic. The central back panel is adorned with a prominent circular gold emblem. The console includes a drawer for storage and is accented with circular brass-coloured hardware. A selection of small ritual decorative objects is included, arranged on the tabletop to complete the ceremonial display.

The download is a 29.6 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model holding 2 separate objects, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

When integrating this model into a 3ds Max scene, ensure the scale is adjusted to match the project floor-to-ceiling heights, as altar units are typically positioned against specific wall features. The asset arrives with defined material IDs, allowing for fine-tuning of the wood grain and metallic reflections. Use the included decorative props as grouped elements to easily toggle their visibility or reposition them during the final stage of scene dressing to ensure they do not intersect with other interior elements.

This altar cabinet is intended for high-end residential projects, specifically for dedicated prayer rooms, family shrines, or as a feature element in traditional living areas.
