About this asset

This modern massage chair SketchUp model features a reclining configuration with integrated leg support, finished in grey and beige fabric. This contemporary massage chair features an ergonomic, reclining silhouette designed for relaxation. The primary seating surface is upholstered in a textured grey fabric, providing a soft contrast to the smooth, white plastic outer shell. The unit includes structured side armrests and a dedicated leg and foot massage compartment, which is integrated into the lower frame. A small control interface is mounted on the side for user operation. The model is presented as a set, showing both an open, functional position and a closed, compact state, demonstrating its versatile, space-saving form factor for interior environments.

The download is a 12.7 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model holding 2 separate objects. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

In SketchUp, this component is best managed by keeping the shell and fabric elements on separate layers to facilitate easy material overrides. Users can position the chair within a room by snapping the base to the floor plane. Since the model includes both open and closed states, it is useful for showing different stages of use in a floor plan or interior render. Ensure that the texture mapping is preserved when applying custom materials to the fabric sections during final scene preparation.
