About this asset

This classic 2-seater Chesterfield sofa is a 3ds Max model featuring deep button tufting and rich brown leather upholstery. This traditional Chesterfield sofa features the iconic deep-buttoned backrest and rolled arms characteristic of the style. Upholstered in a weathered brown leather, the piece includes two matching scatter cushions for added comfort. The frame is supported by short, tapered wooden feet with subtle metallic detailing at the base. Its proportions are compact, making it suitable for smaller lounge areas or study spaces where a statement piece is required. The upholstery exhibits a slight distressing, providing a lived-in aesthetic that complements both formal and relaxed interior settings. The silhouette remains low-profile with substantial armrests.

The download is a 29.8 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

Apply your preferred materials to the leather and wood components to suit specific lighting conditions or render engine requirements. The model is typically organised with logical object naming and layer structures, allowing for easy selection and adjustment of the scatter cushions independently from the main body. Use standard alignment tools to position the sofa against feature walls or within furniture arrangements.

Ideal for residential living rooms, private libraries, or executive office waiting areas, this sofa brings a timeless, sophisticated aesthetic to any project. It pairs well with dark wood side tables, brass floor lamps, or patterned area rugs to enhance its classic appeal. Architects and interior designers often specify this type of seating for boutique hotel lobbies or gentleman's club-style interiors.
