About this asset

This contemporary 3ds Max sofa model features a modular brown fabric design accented with an array of neutral-toned scatter cushions. Defined by its low-profile, modular architecture, this sofa consists of two primary seating units that create an elongated, relaxed silhouette. The upholstery is finished in a textured brown fabric, displaying natural, soft creasing indicative of a casual, lived-in aesthetic. The seating arrangement is complemented by a series of square scatter cushions in varying shades of brown, grey, and beige, providing depth and visual contrast. Its clean, linear form and lack of visible legs emphasise a grounded, contemporary look, making it a versatile foundational piece for various interior design schemes.

When working in 3ds Max, ensure the model is scaled correctly to your scene units before placement. The object is structured for easy integration into interior layouts; use the modular segments to adjust the overall length or configuration as needed. Apply your preferred fabric shaders to the base mesh and cushion objects to achieve the desired level of realism, and utilise standard lighting setups to highlight the fabric's soft folds and textures during final rendering passes.

This modular sofa is well-suited for open-plan living rooms, spacious lounge areas, and contemporary hotel lobbies where comfort and flexibility are prioritised. It pairs effectively with low-profile coffee tables and minimalist rug designs to maintain a cohesive, relaxed atmosphere. Professionals should search for this piece when specifying furniture for modern residential projects, high-end apartment interiors, or lounge zones within commercial hospitality spaces that require a soft, inviting aesthetic that balances casual comfort with refined, contemporary design principles.
