Blue Velvet Tufted Cylindrical Ottoman

This contemporary blue velvet tufted cylindrical ottoman for 3ds Max features a classic button-tufted base and a smooth top surface. This cylindrical ottoman presents a refined contemporary aesthetic, defined by its rich blue velvet upholstery. The lower section features deep button-tufting, creating a textured, quilted appearance that contrasts with the minimalist, flat circular seat cushion above. The silhouette is strictly circular, providing a soft, geometric form suitable for various interior settings. Its compact proportions make it an ideal accent piece, balancing tactile comfort with a structured, tailored design. The absence of visible legs or hardware reinforces its clean, monolithic profile, highlighting the quality of the fabric finish and the precision of the tufted detailing.

The download is a 2.9 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this model is managed as a single object, allowing for easy placement and scaling within a scene. Users should ensure the pivot point is at the base for efficient floor-level snapping. The fabric material can be adjusted or replaced by accessing the material editor, where the velvet texture properties—such as specular highlights and bump mapping—can be fine-tuned to suit specific lighting conditions or render engine requirements. The mesh geometry is clean, ensuring efficient performance when populating larger architectural visualisations or interior layouts.
