About this asset

This modern SketchUp wardrobe features an integrated window seat and a playful blue and white striped finish for kids' bedroom interiors. This custom-style joinery unit combines vertical storage with a central recessed bench seat, designed specifically for a child's room. The facade is defined by an alternating pattern of white and light blue panels, creating a clean, graphic aesthetic. The structure includes flanking vertical cabinets with accessible shelving at mid-height, while the base features a padded bench seat upholstered in a coordinating striped fabric. Constructed from timber-based materials, the unit provides a functional, space-saving solution that merges seating with storage, finished with simple, minimalist hardware on the cabinet doors.

The download is a 41.3 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

In SketchUp, this component is best managed by placing the unit against a wall and using the scale tool to adjust the width to fit specific room dimensions. The model is organised with logical grouping, allowing for easy material replacement or texture mapping on the front panels. Layers should be used to separate the main cabinetry from the internal shelving and seat cushion for better scene control. Ensure the unit is correctly oriented on the floor plane before final integration into your interior model.

This wardrobe unit is suited for residential projects, particularly in children's bedrooms, playrooms, or nursery designs. Its integrated bench makes it a versatile piece for reading nooks or dressing areas, fitting well within contemporary or minimalist interior schemes.
