About this asset

These contemporary blue and white fabric curtains with a metal rod are provided as a SketchUp model for interior visualization. This window treatment assembly consists of a pair of floor-length curtains suspended from a sleek, dark-finished metal rod. The design features a layered aesthetic, combining a solid blue outer fabric with a clean white inner lining. A horizontal white accent band runs across the upper section of the blue panels, adding a subtle graphic detail to the drape. The fabric is modelled with soft, realistic vertical folds and ripples, suggesting a medium-weight textile. The rod is simple and minimalist, providing a clean header for the curtain installation.

The download is a 14.9 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

In SketchUp, this component is best managed as a grouped object to maintain the integrity of the fabric folds and rod alignment. Users should scale the assembly along the horizontal axis to match specific window widths, ensuring the texture mapping remains consistent across the draped geometry. It is recommended to place the curtain assembly on a dedicated layer to toggle visibility during the active modelling phase. Applying semi-translucent materials to the white inner panels can enhance the realism of light filtration in final renders.

These curtains are suitable for residential living rooms, bedrooms, and high-end hotel suites where a refined, modern aesthetic is required. They pair well with minimalist interior schemes or contemporary furniture layouts. When searching for this asset, designers often look for window dressings, drapes, or textile elements to populate interior scenes.
