Black Wood and Velvet 8-Seater Dining Set

This neoclassical 8-seater dining set for 3ds Max features a dark wood rectangular table and velvet-upholstered chairs with oval backs. The set comprises a large, rectangular dining table finished in a deep black wood stain, featuring subtle decorative profiling along the tabletop edges and turned legs. Accompanying the table are eight dining chairs, each defined by a distinctive circular or oval-shaped backrest frame. The seats are upholstered in a dark velvet fabric, providing a textural contrast to the smooth, dark wood grain of the table. A small decorative fruit bowl is included as a central accessory, enhancing the formal, symmetrical arrangement suitable for high-end residential dining rooms or luxury hotel banquet spaces.

The download is a 82.6 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model holding 9 separate objects, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this model is organised into logical layers, allowing for easy selection and manipulation of the table and individual chairs. Users should check the scale upon insertion to ensure compatibility with their specific interior scene. The velvet material uses standard texture mapping, which can be adjusted in the material editor to refine the sheen and depth of the fabric. Lighting the scene requires careful placement of area lights to highlight the wood grain and the velvet’s soft-touch finish without creating distracting specular highlights.
