Black Wood and Rattan TV Cabinet

This contemporary 3ds Max TV cabinet features a black wood frame with natural rattan cane inserts and open central shelving. This media console showcases a clean, contemporary aesthetic with a low-profile silhouette and soft, rounded corners. The frame is constructed from a dark-stained wood, providing a stark contrast to the light, natural-toned rattan cane webbing integrated into the two side-hinged doors. A central open compartment provides two levels for media devices or decorative objects. Small, minimalist brass-tone knobs serve as hardware on the doors, while the unit is elevated on short, tapered legs. The overall proportions are balanced, making it a functional piece for living room media storage.

The download is a 10.4 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

Within 3ds Max, this model is structured with logical object naming and standard material assignments, facilitating efficient integration into larger interior scenes. Users can easily adjust the wood grain orientation or the rattan texture mapping through the standard material editor. The model is scaled to real-world dimensions, allowing for straightforward placement against walls or within custom joinery units. For optimal rendering, users should ensure proper UVW mapping is maintained when applying custom finish variations or adjusting the scene lighting to highlight the rattan texture.
