About this asset

This classic black square wall-mounted art frame is a 3ds Max model featuring a clean, minimalist profile for interior wall display. This square art frame features a simple, slender black metal profile designed to house artwork or photography. The frame has a modern, restrained aesthetic, lacking ornate detailing, which allows it to integrate into a variety of interior styles from traditional to contemporary. The geometry is straightforward, consisting of four linear members joined at right angles to form a perfect square. Its neutral dark finish provides high contrast against light-coloured walls, making it a versatile choice for residential or commercial gallery walls. The model is presented as a single unit, ready for wall placement.

The download is a 707 KB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

For integration into a 3ds Max scene, simply merge the file into your project and position it against a vertical plane or wall surface. The model is organized as a single object, facilitating easy scaling to match specific artwork dimensions. Users can apply custom texture maps to the inner face to display various prints or photographs. It is recommended to check the pivot point upon import to ensure flush alignment with wall geometry, allowing for efficient placement in architectural visualizations.

This frame is suitable for residential living rooms, hallways, or bedroom interiors, as well as hospitality environments like hotel corridors or boutique office spaces. It pairs effectively with modern furniture, minimalist wall panelling, or classic interior schemes. Designers typically search for this asset when needing to populate interior scenes with realistic wall-mounted decor to add depth and detail to empty vertical surfaces. It serves as a foundational element for creating curated gallery wall compositions in high-end architectural renders.
