Black Rattan Two-Door Wardrobe with Open Shelving

This black 3ds Max wardrobe features woven rattan door panels and integrated open side shelving for a balanced Japandi aesthetic. This storage unit combines a matte black timber frame with natural rattan cane webbing on the two primary doors and upper cupboard sections. The design features a tall, rectangular silhouette with a vertical bank of four open shelves on the left side, each fitted with a decorative spindle-style guard rail. The main cabinet area offers dual-door access for hanging garments, while the upper compartments provide additional overhead storage. The contrast between the dark frame and the light, textured weave provides a sophisticated, modern look suitable for contemporary bedrooms or dressing areas.

The download is a 35.5 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model. Open it in 3ds Max; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

When working in 3ds Max, ensure the model is placed on the floor plane and check that the pivot point is set to the base for easy alignment against walls. The rattan textures are mapped to the door panels; adjust the UVW mapping if scaling the object to ensure the weave pattern remains consistent. Organise the geometry into layers separating the frame, shelving, and door panels to facilitate material overrides or customisation during the rendering process.

This wardrobe is an ideal addition to minimalist or Japandi-style bedrooms, dressing rooms, or guest suites where functional storage is required without sacrificing visual lightness. It pairs well with light oak flooring, neutral linen bedding, and soft ambient lighting. Professionals searching for bedroom furniture, clothing storage, or closet systems will find this unit versatile for both compact urban apartments and larger residential projects. It serves as a focal piece in walk-in closets or as a freestanding storage solution in modern interior design schemes.
