About this asset

This contemporary 4-seater dining set for 3ds Max features a sleek black timber frame with natural rattan cane webbing insets. The set comprises a rectangular dining table and four matching chairs, finished in a matte black stain that highlights the underlying wood grain. Each chair features a curved backrest and seat panel, both inset with traditional woven rattan cane webbing in a natural pale finish. The table frame echoes this minimalist silhouette, with slender legs and a clean-lined top. Small metallic accents are visible at the base of the table and chair legs, providing a subtle contrast to the dark timber. The geometry is clean, focusing on the interplay between solid frames and breathable, textured cane.

The download is a 15.8 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model holding 5 separate objects, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this set is organised with logical layer naming, allowing for easy selection of individual chairs or the table. Users should check the pivot points for each object to ensure correct placement on the floor plane. The rattan material is mapped using standard tiling coordinates; ensure the UVW maps are adjusted if scaling the geometry significantly. The scene includes basic decor items which can be toggled off or removed to suit the specific requirements of your interior visualisation project.

This dining set is ideal for residential kitchen-diners, boutique cafe interiors, or hotel restaurant spaces. Its lightweight, airy aesthetic works well in both minimalist and modern rustic design schemes. Professionals often use this style to add texture to neutral dining areas without overwhelming the space. It pairs effectively with natural timber flooring, linen curtains, and soft ambient lighting.
