About this asset

This industrial-style 3ds Max model features a black metal weight rack loaded with various steel dumbbells and weighted plates. The assembly consists of a robust, black-finished steel frame featuring three tiered storage levels. The top tier is dedicated to a collection of dumbbells arranged in ascending size, while the lower two tiers are designed to hold circular weight plates on horizontal spindles. The construction is clean and functional, prioritising stability and clear organisation for fitness equipment. The contrast between the matte black frame and the polished silver finish of the weights provides a realistic aesthetic suitable for high-end interior visualisations of private home gyms or professional training facilities.

The download is a 9 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

Within 3ds Max, this model is organised into logical layers, allowing for easy selection of the rack frame versus the individual weight components. Users can adjust the material properties of the steel elements to match specific lighting environments or render engine requirements. The geometry is clean, ensuring efficient viewport performance when populating larger fitness studio scenes or residential gym layouts. Scaling is set to real-world units, facilitating quick placement into architectural interior models without additional modification.

This storage unit is intended for the interior design of private home gyms, hotel fitness centres, and professional sports training facilities. It serves as an essential detail for visualising active living spaces, pairing effectively with rubber flooring, mirrors, and other strength-training machinery. When searching for this asset, professionals typically use terms such as gym storage, weight rack, dumbbell stand, or fitness equipment.
