About this asset

This contemporary 3ds Max wall art features a minimalist black metal frame enclosing a portrait print, ideal for interior visualisations. This square-format wall art consists of a slim, matte black metal frame that provides a clean, neutral border for the central artwork. The portrait depicted within the frame shows a figure in a deep red, structured traditional garment, set against a muted, dark background. The composition is balanced and formal, with the frame's sharp edges contrasting against the organic, soft folds of the subject's clothing. This piece is designed to be a focal point in a space, offering a sophisticated colour palette that blends well with modern or dark-toned interior schemes.

The download is a 10.7 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this asset is typically handled as a single mesh object with a mapped texture plane. Users should ensure the material ID for the frame is assigned to a metallic or matte black shader, while the artwork uses a high-resolution diffuse map. It is best practice to place this object on a dedicated layer for wall decorations, allowing for easy adjustment of its height and alignment against vertical surfaces during the final staging of a render.

Ideal for residential living rooms, high-end hotel lobbies, or executive offices, this framed portrait adds a sense of cultural depth and refined style to a scene. It complements minimalist and contemporary interiors, working effectively when paired with neutral wall finishes or dark feature walls. Professionals searching for gallery-quality wall art or subtle decorative accents for staging will find this asset versatile for various project stages, from initial concept visualisations to final high-fidelity architectural renders of sophisticated interior spaces.
