About this asset

This modern 3ds Max set features two black Acapulco-style chairs and a matching side table, complete with a decorative potted plant. The set comprises two iconic round-backed lounge chairs constructed from thin, black metal rods arranged in a radial pattern, supported by slender tripod legs. A minimalist circular side table accompanies the seating, featuring a simple tray-style top and a continuous ring-base frame. A small potted plant with white flowers sits atop the table, adding a touch of natural texture to the composition. The design is lightweight and airy, characteristic of mid-century inspired outdoor furniture, providing a cohesive aesthetic suitable for both indoor and outdoor lounge settings or covered patio areas.

The download is a 21.5 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model holding 3 separate objects, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this set is typically managed as a single group or proxy to maintain scene efficiency. Users should verify the scale against the project floor plan before placement, as these chairs often require specific clearances for comfortable use. The metal textures are mapped for realistic reflections, while the plant component can be detached or replaced if a different botanical element is required for the project's specific climate or interior design scheme.

These chairs are frequently specified for casual residential balconies, boutique hotel terraces, or modern cafe seating areas where a relaxed, open feel is desired. They pair effectively with low-profile outdoor rugs and ambient floor lighting to create a defined leisure zone. Professionals searching for this asset often look for patio sets, lounge furniture, or accent seating that offers visual transparency without cluttering smaller floor plates, making them ideal for urban apartment projects or transitional indoor-outdoor living spaces.
