About this asset

This minimalist black framed wall art for 3ds Max features a monochrome ballet dancer photograph in a sleek, thin-profile frame. This wall art asset consists of a rectangular portrait-oriented frame finished in a matte black tone. The frame features a clean, thin profile that surrounds a high-contrast black and white photograph of a ballet dancer in a vertical pose. The assembly includes a white matting border between the print and the frame edge, providing a gallery-style presentation. The glazing is represented with a clear material, ensuring a realistic reflective quality when rendered. The overall construction is simple and modern, designed to provide a neutral yet sophisticated aesthetic for interior wall surfaces.

The download is a 2.4 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

To integrate this asset into 3ds Max, import the file and position it against vertical surfaces such as walls or partitions. The model is structured with distinct material IDs for the frame, the print, and the glass, allowing for easy adjustment of reflection or transparency settings. Ensure the pivot point is aligned with the rear face for efficient snapping to wall geometry. When placing the object, verify that the scale is consistent with standard architectural frame sizes for accurate interior proportions.

This framed art piece is suitable for residential living rooms, bedrooms, or entrance hallways where a minimalist focal point is required. It also functions well in professional settings like modern office lobbies, boutique hotel suites, or contemporary cafe interiors. Designers often use such assets to add character to empty walls without overwhelming the space. It pairs effectively with modern furniture, neutral colour palettes, and soft accent lighting to enhance the atmosphere of a room during the final stages of a project.
