About this asset

This contemporary hanging chair and floor lamp set for SketchUp features a woven rattan frame and a sleek, multi-globe light fixture. This furniture set includes a spherical hanging chair constructed from a light-coloured woven rattan, suspended on a matching arched metal stand. The seat is cushioned with soft, grey fabric upholstery, featuring a circular back pillow and a curved base pad for comfort. Accompanying the seating is a slender floor lamp with a dark, slim stem and a heavy circular base, supporting three stacked, spherical white glass shades. The combination offers a balanced, modern aesthetic, blending organic textures with clean, minimalist metallic elements, suitable for various interior design schemes.

The download is a 2.3 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model holding 2 separate objects. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

When working in SketchUp, place this set as a group to maintain the spatial relationship between the chair and the lamp. Use the scale tool to adjust the overall size to match your project's specific requirements, ensuring the base of the chair sits flush with the floor plane. Apply high-resolution textures to the rattan and fabric surfaces to enhance realism in your final renders. Organise the components into separate layers to allow for independent toggling or lighting adjustments within your scene hierarchy.

Ideal for residential living rooms, sunrooms, or boutique hotel lounges, this set provides a relaxed, inviting focal point. It pairs well with neutral palettes, indoor greenery, and natural wood finishes. Professionals often search for this type of asset when visualising reading nooks, relaxation areas, or modern apartment interiors. The piece works effectively in both early-stage conceptual layouts and final high-quality visualisations, adding a touch of contemporary design to any space intended for comfort and leisure.
