About this asset

This contemporary armchair scene for 3ds Max features a beige fabric lounge chair, a matching side table, and a circular rug. This lounge chair features a clean-lined timber frame supporting an upholstered backrest and seat cushion in a neutral beige fabric. A small rectangular throw cushion adds comfort to the upright back. Accompanying the seating is a sculptural, hourglass-shaped wooden side table with a smooth, rounded top. The entire arrangement is grounded by a large, circular woven rug with a repeating circular pattern, providing a textured base. The ensemble creates a cohesive, minimalist reading corner, utilizing natural wood tones and soft textile surfaces to balance the structural elements of the chair and table design.

The download is a 45.2 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) scene, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

Users can merge this 3ds Max scene directly into their interior projects to populate reading nooks or living areas. The objects are grouped for easy placement and scaling within the viewport. Textures and materials are pre-applied, allowing for immediate integration into standard render setups. Designers should ensure the pivot points are correctly aligned at the base of the chair and rug to facilitate precise positioning on the floor plane, while adjusting light intensity to highlight the fabric and wood surface finishes.

This set is ideal for residential interior designs, particularly in living rooms, master bedrooms, or dedicated home office reading corners. It functions effectively in hospitality environments such as hotel suites or boutique lounge areas where a relaxed, stylish seating arrangement is required. Professionals searching for a ready-to-use accent chair, occasional table, or textured rug combination will find this asset useful for staging high-quality architectural visualisations that require a soft, lived-in aesthetic without needing to source individual components separately.
