About this asset

This contemporary beige fabric modular circular sofa for SketchUp features a segmented, low-profile design ideal for open-plan lounge areas. Comprised of multiple identical curved segments, this modular sofa forms a complete circular seating arrangement. The design is defined by its clean, minimalist lines and soft, rounded edges, which provide a comfortable and inviting aesthetic. Upholstered in a neutral beige fabric, the piece maintains a cohesive look while offering a versatile solution for large, open spaces. The low-back profile and continuous bolster-style padding create a uniform silhouette, ensuring the piece remains a focal point without overwhelming the room. Its geometric simplicity allows for flexible placement, whether utilized as a standalone centrepiece or integrated into a larger architectural composition.

The download is a 5.4 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

Given its modular nature, users can explode the geometry to rearrange individual sections or scale the diameter to suit specific floor plans. It is recommended to place the model on a dedicated layer to manage visibility in complex scenes. Apply custom texture maps if a different fabric finish is required, and ensure the model is positioned on a level surface to maintain correct alignment within your 3D environment.

This circular sofa is well-suited for large residential living rooms, hotel lobbies, and contemporary office breakout spaces. Its unique geometry works effectively in expansive floor plans where a central seating feature is desired to encourage social interaction. Designers often pair this piece with low-profile coffee tables or large-scale area rugs to define the seating zone.
