About this asset

This contemporary 3ds Max model of a double bed features a beige fabric-upholstered frame dressed with soft, layered grey bedding. This contemporary double bed is defined by its relaxed, casual aesthetic, featuring a low-profile frame upholstered in a neutral beige fabric. The set includes a plush duvet that drapes naturally over the sides and foot of the bed, complemented by two matching soft pillows. A contrasting grey throw is casually draped across the centre of the bed, adding texture and visual depth to the overall composition. The fabric appears soft and tactile, with realistic folds and creases that suggest a lived-in, comfortable atmosphere, making it a suitable choice for high-quality architectural visualisations.

The download is a 26.5 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this model is managed as a single asset group. Users should ensure the texture paths are correctly re-linked upon merging into the scene to maintain the integrity of the fabric shaders. The model is scaled to standard double-bed proportions; however, minor adjustments may be required depending on the specific room dimensions. Given the high level of detail in the fabric draping, it is recommended to use an appropriate render engine setting that handles complex cloth geometry efficiently to avoid unnecessary render times.

Ideal for residential bedroom interiors, this bed works well in master suites, guest rooms, or boutique hotel projects where a soft, inviting aesthetic is required. It pairs effectively with minimalist bedside tables and ambient lighting solutions. Architects and interior designers often search for such assets when styling contemporary living spaces that require a sense of comfort and realism. It is particularly useful for final-stage renders where detailed soft furnishings are needed to provide scale and warmth to the interior environment.
