Beige and White Fabric Double Layer Curtain – Variant 4

This contemporary SketchUp model features a double-layered curtain set with a light beige outer drape and a crisp white inner sheer layer. This window treatment comprises a dual-layer assembly designed for realistic interior visualisation. The outer layer consists of heavy, floor-length beige fabric drapes, gathered neatly at the sides with matching cord tie-backs to create natural, soft folds. Behind these, a lighter white sheer curtain provides a clean, neutral backdrop, featuring vertical pleats that span the full width. The geometry is modelled to capture the organic drape and volume of textile materials, providing a sense of depth and softness that is essential for achieving a convincing, lived-in aesthetic within an architectural scene.

The download is a 4.7 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

In SketchUp, this component is best managed as a nested group. Users should place the object against wall geometry, ensuring the curtain header aligns with the desired rod or track height. Scaling the width should be done carefully to maintain the integrity of the pleats and fabric folds. The native materials can be easily swapped or adjusted in the material editor to refine the opacity of the sheer layer or the texture of the outer fabric for specific render engine requirements.

These curtains are suitable for residential living rooms, master bedrooms, and high-end hotel suites where a layered window dressing is required. They pair effectively with minimalist or contemporary interior schemes, adding warmth and a tactile quality to hard-surfaced spaces. Professionals searching for drapery assets will find this model useful for adding realism to interior renderings, particularly when paired with recessed ceiling tracks or decorative poles. It is an ideal addition for projects focusing on comfort, privacy, and soft light diffusion in domestic environments.
