About this asset

This 3ds Max model features a set of three bamboo roller blinds paired with a woven paper pendant light for natural interiors. This collection consists of three rectangular bamboo roller blinds and one cylindrical woven paper pendant light. The blinds are constructed from thin, horizontal bamboo slats held together by delicate cordage, providing a textured, organic aesthetic. Each blind features integrated suspension hardware at the top for mounting. Accompanying the blinds is a cylindrical pendant light finished in a light, translucent paper material, supported by a dark cord. The entire set maintains a cohesive, minimalist look, relying on natural materials and warm, diffused textures to create a serene atmosphere in a space.

The download is a 9.7 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model holding 4 separate objects, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

When using this set in 3ds Max, ensure the blinds are aligned to the interior face of the window frames. The blinds and light are grouped for easy placement; users should adjust the pivot points if animating the roll-up mechanism. Apply appropriate light intensity to the pendant object to simulate ambient warmth, and ensure the texture maps for the bamboo slats are scaled correctly to maintain the natural material appearance across different window sizes within the project.

These elements are suitable for residential living rooms, bedrooms, or hospitality spaces such as boutique hotels and tea houses seeking a Japanese or Wabi-Sabi aesthetic. They pair well with neutral palettes, light oak furniture, and indoor plants. Professionals searching for natural window coverings or organic lighting fixtures will find this set useful for adding warmth to minimalist designs. It is an ideal addition to scenes requiring soft, filtered light and authentic, tactile materials in contemporary or traditional Asian-inspired interior schemes.
