About this asset

This Art Deco style lounge chair for SketchUp features a distinctive scalloped backrest upholstered in grey fabric with white piping. This lounge chair features a distinctive scalloped, fan-shaped backrest that creates a semi-circular silhouette. The upholstery is a textured grey fabric, accented by crisp white piping along the vertical seams of the backrest and the base of the seat. The seat cushion is circular and plush, providing a soft contrast to the structured back. It is supported by four slender, tapered legs finished in a warm brown wood tone, which angle outwards to provide stability. The overall proportions are compact, making it suitable for smaller seating areas while maintaining a strong visual presence.

The download is a 9 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

In SketchUp, this model is organised with logical grouping to allow for easy material replacement or texture scaling. Users should check the component axes upon insertion to ensure correct placement on the floor plane. The geometry is clean, suitable for creating quick interior visualisations. Apply custom fabric textures to the primary surfaces while keeping the wood grain mapping consistent across the legs. If adjusting the scale, ensure the component remains uniform to maintain the integrity of the curved backrest geometry during rendering processes.

This piece is ideal for residential living rooms, boutique hotel lobbies, or quiet reading corners in a master bedroom. Its decorative Art Deco aesthetic pairs well with velvet cushions, brass side tables, or dark wood flooring. Professionals searching for accent seating, statement chairs, or period-inspired furniture will find this model useful for adding character to a project. It serves as an effective focal point in a seating arrangement, particularly when paired with a low-profile coffee table or a minimalist floor lamp.
