Aquarium with Wooden Frame and Aquatic Scenery

This rectangular aquarium with a natural wood frame is a 3ds Max model featuring a detailed internal aquascape with stone and plants. The aquarium features a clean-lined rectangular frame finished in a warm, natural-toned wood veneer. The tank contains a sophisticated aquascape setup, incorporating large, textured grey rock formations, fine sand substrate, and lush green aquatic vegetation arranged to mimic a natural forest floor. The glass pane provides a clear view into the internal environment, which is meticulously detailed with varied plant heights and mossy rock textures. This unit is designed as a self-contained decorative feature, offering a balanced contrast between the organic, textured interior and the structured, minimalist exterior framing of the tank.

The download is a 62.3 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

When integrating this model into a 3ds Max scene, place the aquarium as a single asset group within the project hierarchy. Users can adjust the material IDs for the wood frame to match surrounding cabinetry or millwork. Ensure the viewport transparency settings are configured correctly for the glass to maintain visual clarity. The internal aquascape components are typically grouped, allowing for easy placement and scaling. Apply standard environment lighting to highlight the glass reflections and the depth of the internal nature-inspired scene.
