Abstract Patterned Fabric Area Rug Set

A set of four modern abstract fabric area rugs designed for SketchUp, featuring varied neutral-toned geometric patterns and textures. This collection consists of four distinct area rugs, each rendered with a low-profile, flat-weave aesthetic. The designs utilise a sophisticated palette of soft beige, charcoal grey, and off-white, arranged in clean, geometric blocks and sweeping curves. The visual texture suggests a woven textile finish, providing subtle depth without overwhelming a space. These rugs are presented as individual pieces, allowing for versatile placement within a floor plan. Their neutral colour scheme ensures they complement a wide range of interior styles, from minimalist apartments to contemporary hotel lounges, offering a grounding element for various furniture groupings.

The download is a 4.2 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model holding 4 separate objects. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

Within SketchUp, these rugs are best utilised as flat components placed directly onto floor surfaces. Users should ensure the rug geometry is slightly offset from the floor plane to prevent z-fighting during rendering. The textures are mapped for realistic scale; however, adjusting the UV mapping or material tiling may be necessary to match specific project dimensions. These assets are lightweight, making them ideal for populating large architectural scenes without significantly impacting file performance or viewport navigation speeds.
