About this asset

This Japanese-style Zen garden landscape SketchUp scene features a stone table, raked sand, and sculptural rocks for outdoor design. This curated exterior scene presents a serene Japanese garden composition. Central to the design is a massive, organic-shaped stone table positioned on a raised grey stone platform. The ground plane consists of white raked sand, accented by various jagged stone formations and striped decorative rocks. A mature tree provides a natural canopy, while a small water feature runs alongside the main dais. The backdrop is defined by textured grey walls, creating a minimalist and contemplative atmosphere suitable for high-end architectural visualisation. All elements are integrated into a cohesive, balanced spatial arrangement.

The download is a 27.3 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

Utilising this SketchUp scene requires managing the model's layers to maintain performance. Professionals should inspect the component hierarchy to isolate individual elements like the stone table or trees for reuse in other projects. Mapping textures for the stone surfaces and sand can be adjusted via the material editor to suit specific lighting conditions. When merging this into a larger master plan, use the 'Import' function to maintain global coordinates and ensure the scene's scale aligns with the surrounding site context.

Ideal for residential courtyards, luxury hotel spas, and contemplative garden spaces, this scene serves as a foundation for exterior design presentations. It pairs well with modern minimalist architecture or traditional Japanese-inspired structures. Architects and visualisers frequently search for this type of asset when developing outdoor relaxation areas, meditation spaces, or high-end landscape features. It is particularly effective for demonstrating material palettes and spatial flow in early-stage concept development or final rendered walk-throughs for outdoor living environments.
