Scandinavian Red Timber Cottage Garden Scene

This SketchUp scene features a pair of traditional Scandinavian-style red timber cottages set within a lush, natural meadow. The scene presents two vernacular timber cottages finished in a classic deep red hue, characteristic of Nordic rural architecture. Each structure features a steep pitched roof, white-framed multi-pane windows, and a prominent stone-clad chimney. A small balcony with a white balustrade adds a delicate detail to the upper level of the primary dwelling. The houses are nestled within a dense, unmanicured meadow filled with tall grasses and mature trees, creating a soft, organic boundary. A simple wooden picket fence delineates the immediate garden area, providing a sense of enclosure while maintaining a rustic, informal aesthetic.

Professionals can utilize this SketchUp model as a ready-to-render environment for architectural visualisations. The file is structured to allow for easy camera placement and lighting adjustments. Users should check the layer organisation to manage the density of the vegetation and the structural elements of the buildings independently. Scaling is pre-set, but it is recommended to verify the insertion point against your site plan before merging into larger master-planning projects. Textures are mapped for immediate use, though global illumination settings should be tuned to match your specific environmental lighting requirements.
