About this asset

This SketchUp model provides a collection of primary-coloured steel playground equipment for exterior landscape visualisations. Comprising seven distinct play structures, this set features a comprehensive range of recreational components designed for durability and visual impact. Elements include a large modular climbing frame with integrated roofs and platforms, a classic swing set, a circular merry-go-round, a slide, a seesaw, and a sandpit with bead-abacus details. The aesthetic is defined by a bold primary colour palette of red, blue, and yellow, applied to steel frames and plastic components. The geometry is clean and simplified, suitable for mid-range rendering, providing clear silhouettes and recognisable forms for site plans and exterior renders.

The download is a 15.7 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model holding 7 separate objects. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

Utilise these components by importing the model into your SketchUp master file and exploding the group to select individual play structures. Scale the assets as required to fit your site topography, ensuring the base of each unit is correctly aligned with the ground plane. Materials are applied as standard SketchUp textures; these can be easily updated or swapped for higher-resolution PBR textures if necessary. The set is organised by object, allowing for efficient placement across varying site layouts.

Ideal for residential development, school projects, and public park design, this set adds essential detail to exterior renderings. It is suitable for early-stage concept modelling and final presentation imagery alike. Professionals can use these assets to quickly populate outdoor spaces, creating realistic play zones that communicate site utility to clients. Pair with landscape vegetation and gravel or grass textures to complete an outdoor recreational area.
