About this asset

This modern Japanese Zen garden water feature 3ds Max scene features a layered stone wall, cascading water, and bamboo plants. Comprising a refined composition of natural elements, this scene centers on a vertical wood panel integrated into a textured, layered stone feature wall. A minimalist water element cascades over the edge, creating a serene focal point. The arrangement includes a slender bamboo cluster, weathered decorative rocks, and a traditional stone lantern, all set against a reflective pool surface. The materials are carefully balanced to evoke a tranquil atmosphere, with the warm grain of the wood contrasting against the cool, grey tones of the stone and the soft, organic green of the vegetation.

The download is a 25.4 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) scene, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

Designed for 3ds Max, this scene arrives with geometry, materials, and lighting pre-configured for immediate rendering. Professionals can use this as a foundational environment or extract specific elements like the stone lantern or bamboo for use in other projects. Ensure the scene is merged into your master file while maintaining the original object hierarchy and layer structure. The water textures and lighting setup are optimised for standard render engines, allowing for quick adjustments to the environmental mood or time-of-day settings as required by your project.
