Modern Charcoal Industrial Container Cafe Scene

This industrial container cafe scene for SketchUp features a two-storey modular structure with angled structural steel supports. Comprised of multiple shipping containers, this two-storey cafe design utilises a striking charcoal-finished steel exterior. The composition is defined by its modular geometry, featuring large, angular glazing sections framed in warm-toned metal. The ground level integrates expansive windows for natural light, while the upper floor is supported by robust, V-shaped structural columns. A small external balcony area adds functional depth to the upper level. The overall aesthetic balances raw industrial materiality with precise, contemporary architectural detailing, making it a highly effective model for demonstrating modular construction or pop-up commercial design concepts.

The download is a 20.6 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

Integrating this scene into a SketchUp project is straightforward; the model is organised for immediate insertion into larger site contexts. Professionals can utilise the existing layers to manage the visibility of the structural steel and glazing components. Given the scale, users should ensure the model is placed on a flat terrain or within a custom site plan. Adjusting the material mapping for the charcoal steel and metallic framing allows for quick customisation to match specific project lighting conditions or surrounding environmental palettes.
