About this asset

This minimalist Japanese Zen garden landscape 3ds Max scene features a stone water basin, bamboo spout, and carefully placed rocks. Composed with a focus on balance and serenity, this scene captures a traditional Japanese garden aesthetic. Central to the arrangement is a carved stone basin fed by a bamboo water spout, creating a soft focal point. The surrounding ground is covered in dark gravel accented by white river stones. Natural elements include a mature ornamental tree, ferns, and moss-covered rocks that provide texture and depth. A concrete wall with vertical linear detailing serves as a neutral backdrop, while a small stone lantern completes the composition, offering a grounded, contemplative atmosphere.

The download is a 23.3 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) scene, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

As a pre-composed 3ds Max scene, this asset is intended as a foundation for architectural exterior visualisations. Users can adjust the lighting setup to match specific time-of-day requirements or modify the plant distribution to suit different site boundaries. The materials are mapped and ready for rendering, though fine-tuning the texture tiling on the wall or the displacement settings on the stone elements may be necessary to achieve high-resolution results in specific render engines.

This garden scene is well-suited for high-end residential projects, hotel courtyards, or spa wellness centres where a tranquil outdoor space is required. It pairs effectively with modern architectural designs that feature floor-to-ceiling glass, allowing for a seamless transition between interior and exterior living areas. Professionals searching for curated landscape assets or meditative courtyard designs will find this model useful for adding immediate environmental context to site plans and exterior renders without needing to build the composition from scratch.
