Contemporary Tropical Two-Storey House Exterior Scene

This contemporary tropical two-storey house exterior SketchUp scene features a detailed concrete facade, timber screens, and lush integrated greenery. Designed with a clear tropical modern aesthetic, this two-storey residence presents a balanced composition of clean white planes and textured grey concrete cladding. The ground level features a solid privacy wall with integrated garden beds, while the upper level incorporates vertical timber louvres and large glazing to maximise natural light. Generous planting, including palms and flowering shrubs, softens the architectural lines, creating a seamless transition between the built form and the surrounding landscape. The hip roof profile is finished in dark tiles, providing a clean, traditional silhouette that anchors the modern building design.

The download is a 256 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

To integrate this SketchUp scene into a professional workflow, begin by verifying the geo-location settings to ensure accurate sun positioning and shadow analysis. The model is structured with logical layering, allowing for the easy isolation of landscaping elements from the structural envelope for more efficient rendering. Users can quickly swap out the existing vegetation components for regional alternatives or adjust the material mapping on the timber screens to better match specific project requirements before finalising the scene for export to a rendering engine.
