About this asset

This SketchUp model set provides four natural stone landscape features with detailed grass and pebble base elements. The collection features four distinct stone arrangements, each displaying unique textures and geological characteristics. These include a long, weathered grey rock with heavy striations, a smooth ochre-toned boulder, a lighter grey stone with subtle veining, and a tall, jagged mountain-like rock formation. Each piece is mounted on a curated base, integrating small patches of green grass, white river pebbles, or small mossy details. The proportions are balanced for small-scale garden vignettes, emphasizing natural form and organic placement. The set captures a traditional zen aesthetic, suitable for detailed exterior visualization.

The download is a 92.4 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model holding 4 separate objects. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

In SketchUp, these assets are best used as individual components within a larger site plan or garden model. Users should manage the high-detail geometry by placing them on a dedicated layer to maintain viewport performance. The textures are pre-mapped for standard rendering workflows; however, adjusting the material scale or using a proxy system is recommended for complex scenes. These elements can be grouped or scaled to suit specific planter boxes or courtyard focal points without losing visual fidelity.

These stone features are ideal for residential landscape design, rooftop gardens, and public park projects where a touch of natural texture is required. They pair effectively with minimalist hardscaping, timber decking, or modern stone paving. Professionals often search for these as 'zen garden stones' or 'landscape focal points' when building out site plans at the concept or development stage. They are particularly effective for creating tranquil, contemplative spaces in hospitality or high-end residential courtyards where organic elements are essential.
