About this asset

This minimalist staircase scene for SketchUp features a white straight-run stair with timber balustrades and an integrated garden. The composition features a clean, straight-run staircase finished in a neutral white, paired with a vertical timber-slatted balustrade that provides warmth and texture. At the base, a recessed landscape bed contains a small decorative tree, grass, and a large natural stone, creating a zen-inspired focal point. The walls are finished in a subtle, light-grey textured plaster, while the flooring transitions from concrete-look tiles to the staircase structure. Integrated strip lighting runs along the underside of the stair, casting a soft glow across the entire architectural assembly.

The download is a 22.7 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

When integrating this scene into a SketchUp project, treat the staircase and the garden elements as separate components within the model. Users should place the assembly as a single entity and then adjust the scale to fit specific floor-to-floor heights. The geometry is clean, allowing for easy material overrides if the white finish needs to be changed. Ensure the lighting components are correctly positioned to maintain the intended soft illumination effect in rendered output.

This asset is ideal for high-end residential projects, hotel lobbies, or boutique retail spaces that incorporate biophilic design elements. It works particularly well in contemporary or minimalist architectural concepts where a feature staircase serves as a visual anchor. Professionals can use this in early-stage concept modelling or final presentation visualisations. It pairs effectively with modern concrete finishes, large-format tiling, and neutral interior palettes, making it a versatile choice for designers looking to introduce a calming, nature-integrated transition between floors.
