Landscape Stone Natural Rock Collection Set

Comprehensive collection of sixty-four landscape stone assets for SketchUp, featuring natural rock formations and garden features. This extensive library includes a diverse variety of natural landscape stones, ranging from individual boulders and weathered rock formations to complex rockery arrangements and water feature surrounds. The collection features various textures and geological forms, including porous, eroded, and smooth stones typical of traditional oriental garden design. Several items include integrated water elements, small-scale waterfalls, and decorative stone paving patterns. The varied geometry provides realistic detail, from jagged, sculptural monoliths to rounded river stones, offering a complete resource for populating exterior scenes with authentic, organic hardscaping elements.

The download is a 142 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model holding 64 separate objects. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

These SketchUp files are designed for efficient scene population in exterior visualisations. Users should import these components into their master landscape file, utilising layers to manage the density of the rock placement. Given the varied geometry, it is recommended to use the scale tool to adjust individual boulders for site-specific proportions. Applying high-resolution texture maps with appropriate bump settings will enhance the realism of the stone surfaces, particularly when rendering with external plugins that support displacement mapping and complex lighting environments.
