About this asset

This exposed industrial ceiling pipe network for SketchUp features a dense, modular arrangement of grey metal conduits and pipes. This architectural ceiling element represents an exposed MEP service layout, typical of industrial-style interiors. The assembly consists of a complex, grid-like network of rigid metal pipes and conduits arranged in a structured, repetitive pattern. The geometry is monochromatic, rendered in a neutral grey tone that emphasises the structural and functional aesthetic. The system is framed within a clean, white rectangular perimeter, providing a clear boundary for integration into larger interior models. The design focuses on technical precision, detailing the various elbows, junctions, and vertical drops found in commercial and industrial ceiling voids.

The download is a 10 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

In SketchUp, this component is best utilised by placing it as a group or component within your ceiling assembly layers. Because it is a modular, high-density model, ensure it is assigned to a specific 'Services' or 'Ceiling' tag to manage viewport performance. You can easily scale the entire block to fit specific room dimensions or explode the component to modify individual pipe runs, junctions, or vertical drops to better align with your project's specific MEP requirements and structural constraints.

Ideal for industrial-themed office fit-outs, loft-style residential projects, and retail showroom interiors, this asset adds immediate technical depth to open-ceiling designs. Architects and interior designers can use it to populate ceiling voids where mechanical, electrical, and plumbing services are intended to be visible. It pairs effectively with exposed concrete finishes, track lighting systems, and raw structural steel elements. Search for this in your library when developing concept renders for creative workspaces, urban cafes, or modern hospitality venues requiring an authentic, unrefined aesthetic.
