Contemporary Wood and Stone Column Floor Lamp Set

This contemporary floor lamp set for SketchUp features a sculptural, trumpet-shaped design combining natural wood and stone. These sculptural floor lamps feature a distinctive trumpet-shaped column rising from a cylindrical base. The design combines a warm, polished wood grain finish on the upper body with a contrasting stone-topped base segmented into thirds. One version is rendered with an illuminated, textured translucent column core, while the other shows the solid wood form. The proportions are balanced, suggesting a high-end decorative element suitable for focal points in interior design. The base integrates seamlessly with the vertical column, providing a stable footprint for the sculptural form while maintaining a clean, modern aesthetic.

The download is a 3.5 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model holding 2 separate objects. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

In SketchUp, these models are typically managed as components to facilitate easy placement and scaling within a project file. Professionals should apply high-resolution textures to the wood and stone surfaces to ensure realistic render output. The illuminated version may require adjusting the emissive material properties or adding a point light source within the central column geometry to simulate the glowing effect effectively during the rendering process, depending on the chosen render engine plugin.

These feature lamps are ideal for luxury residential lobbies, high-end hotel reception areas, or modern retail showrooms where sculptural lighting is required to anchor a space. They pair well with minimalist interiors or contemporary furniture arrangements that benefit from organic, flowing shapes. Designers might search for sculptural floor lamps, ambient feature lighting, or decorative lighting columns when sourcing assets for hospitality or premium residential projects, specifically looking for items that provide both architectural interest and soft, diffused illumination.
