About this asset

This contemporary sliding barn door set for SketchUp features three distinct styles with black metal hardware and textured finishes. This collection includes three distinct sliding barn door configurations. The first features a light oak timber frame with a central fluted or textured glass panel. The second is a minimalist solid grey door with horizontal panel detailing. The third is a sage green painted door featuring a traditional two-panel design. All three models are equipped with matching black industrial-style sliding rail hardware, including top-mounted hangers and track components. The proportions are standard for residential interior openings, providing a clean aesthetic suitable for modern or transitional interior architecture.

The download is an 11.2 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model holding 3 separate objects. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

In SketchUp, these models are organised as components, allowing for easy placement and alignment along wall surfaces. Users should ensure the sliding track is mounted to a flat, vertical plane. Materials are applied using standard SketchUp texture mapping, which can be easily swapped or adjusted to match specific project finishes. Since these doors are grouped, they can be scaled or adjusted for height without distorting the hardware geometry, provided the user enters the component editing mode.

These sliding barn doors are well-suited for residential projects, particularly for dividing open-plan living areas, bedrooms, or home offices where space efficiency is required. They also function effectively in boutique commercial settings, such as creative studios or modern reception areas. Professionals looking for space-saving door solutions or design elements that add character to an interior will find these models useful for visualising circulation paths and interior transitions in architectural presentations, renovation plans, or bespoke cabinetry designs.
