Contemporary Black Metal Fluted Glass Double Door Set

This contemporary double door set for SketchUp features black metal frames with fluted glass panels and elegant brass hardware. These elegant double doors feature a striking black metal frame construction with a distinct arched glazing detail. Each door leaf is divided into segments, incorporating vertical fluted glass that provides privacy while maintaining light transmission. The lower portion of each door is finished with a solid, recessed panel, adding a traditional touch to the overall contemporary aesthetic. The design is completed with slim brass lever handles and matching escutcheons, providing a refined contrast against the dark frame. The doors are presented as a symmetrical pair, suitable for grand interior transitions.

The download is a 30.6 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model holding 2 separate objects. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

When integrating these doors into a SketchUp model, treat them as a component to ensure easy placement within wall openings. Use the native scale tool to adjust the height or width if necessary, ensuring the geometry remains grouped to preserve the frame proportions. Apply materials via the paint bucket tool if specific finishes are required for render engine compatibility. Ensure the axes are properly aligned with the door frame for precise rotation and opening animations during the design development phase.

Ideal for high-end residential interiors, these doors serve as sophisticated room dividers between living areas, dining rooms, or home offices. They work effectively in boutique hospitality projects, such as luxury hotel suites or refined commercial office lobbies, where a sense of openness and privacy is required. Professionals often search for these units when specifying glass partitions or statement entryways that require a modern, architectural look. Pair them with neutral wall palettes or deep, moody interior schemes to accentuate the black metal detailing.
